Warrior is a tank class. It can take a beating and has provided skills to keep agro from others. Warrior does reasonable damage but not the best.
Rogue can be called as damage dealer. Rogues have strong damage capabilities, and can do maximum damage over time. Rogues are masters in evasion, so can dodge a lot of attacks if needed in a sticky situation. Also rogues have ability to increase drop rate. Rogues are however low in HP and MP so will need to pot heavily and may need sell wow gold rests when soloing.
Mages have very strong burst attack and also long range spells, however very weak in defense.
Priests obviously have the capability to heal all party members, and resurrect them if someone dies. They also have strong buffs to help kill strong opponents quicker. Priests also have great abilities to control crowds if your party, gets mobbed by too many opponents at once.
Monks can do a bit off everything. They have itself sell Rappelz Rupees and can do a good amount of damage. They have a decent defense too. A good addition to a party, as they can deal good damage, rarely needs much looking after.
Monks I think are one of the best classes if you want to solo, as they are quite rounded, but you may need help in case off stronger bosses.
